ISRAEL TOUR Group Itinerary


Day 1- Orlando, FL – Frankfurt, Germany (Sunday) On this day, we depart noon or thereafter from Orlando, FL fly to Frankfurt, Germany.
Day 2- Frankfurt, Germany – Tel Aviv, Israel (Monday)

We arrive at Frankfurt, Germany early morning and change planes for a departure to Tel Aviv, Israel. After arriving in Tel Aviv, we will be met by our Inspirational Tours representative who will transfer us to our hotel in Tiberias at the Galei Kinnereth for 4 nights.

Day 3- Mt. Carmel /Cana/ Nazareth/ Mount Precipice /Tiberias (Tuesday)
After breakfast, we begin our tour of the Holy Land. Travel to the port city of Haifa, and ascend Mt. Carmel where Elijah had his contest with the prophets of Baal. There you will capture a magnificent view of the Jezreel Valley. We will travel south of Nazareth toward the cliffs of Mt Kedumim to Mount Precipice, the traditional site of the cliff that an angry mob attempted to throw Jesus off of after his bold proclamation in the Nazareth synagogue. Visit Cana, where Christ performed his first miracle. On to Nazareth, and tour the Nazareth Village and the Church of the Annunciation. We will return to our hotel next to the beautiful Sea of Galilee for dinner and overnight.

Day 4- Caesarea Philippi / Golan Heights / Jordan River (Wednesday)

After breakfast, we will continue to Banias, formerly Caesarea Philippi. This is where Peter said, “Thou art the Christ.” From several vantage points today, we can see Mount Herman in the distance. Our guide will take us to a special point to have lunch and view the beauty of Israel. Then we drive over the Golan Heights and back by the eastern and southern shores of the Sea of Galilee. We will stop at the Jordan River for those who wish to be baptized, and return to hotel for dinner by the Sea of Galilee.

Day 5- Sea of Galilee / Magdala  / Capernaum / Tabgha / Beatitudes (Thursday)

On this day after breakfast, we take a boat ride across the Sea of Galilee from Tiberias. Visit Magdala, best known as the home of Mary Magdalene. Walk through the ruins of a first century Jewish town where a synagogue from the time of Christ’s ministry was found.   Visit Capernaum and see the remains of an early church, the ruins of Peter’s house, and the ancient synagogue. By the shore, we will visit Tabgha, the Church of Peter’s Primacy and the ancient mosaic of the Loaves and Fishes. Travel on to the Mount of Beatitudes where the Sermon on the Mount is remembered. Return to the Galei Kinnereth on the beautiful Sea of Galilee for dinner.

Day 6- Beit She’an / Jericho / Old Jericho Road / Bethlehem / Jerusalem  (Friday)
Today we visit the excavations at Beit She’an, and depart from the Jordan River Valley to the ancient Canaanite city of Jericho to see the excavations of the ancient walls. Travel by the Old Jericho Road and view the valley that may have inspired the 23rd Psalm. We will stop in Bethlehem to see the Church of the Nativity containing the cave stable of Jesus’ birth. We will stop at the Shepherd’s Field to visit a church built over an ancient cave. While in Bethlehem you will have an opportunity to shop in one of the Christian shopkeepers stores to search through the many nativities made from area olivewood, along with many other items available. We will stay at the Dan Jerusalem Hotel for the remainder of the tour. After dinner you will have an opportunity to walk into the Old City for a nighttime view of the Wailing Wall.
ISRAEL TOUR Group Itinerary


Day 7- Masada / Ein Gedi / Qumran / Dead Sea  (Saturday)

We will depart after breakfast from Jerusalem and travel to Masada and ascend the fortress by cable car. Visit magnificent ruins of the fortress, where from 70-73 A.D. the Jewish defenders made the last stand of the Judean revolt against Rome. We will see the remains of the storehouse, cisterns, Herodian Palaces and the remains of the 6th Century Byzantine Church. Travel to the oasis of Ein Gedi, believed to be where David wrote the Psalms when he was hiding from Saul. Continue on to Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered in 1947, and view the Mt. of Temptation. We will travel along the southernmost point of the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth and see the area where most archaeologists feel that Sodom and Gomorrah is buried and where you will have time to swim in the Dead Sea. Return to the hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

Day 8- Jerusalem / Mount of Olives / Gethsemane / Upper Room / Western Wall / Temple Mount  (Sunday)

Today, we go to the Mount of Olives for a group picture and scenic view of Jerusalem. See the Place of Ascension and the Pater Noster Church, and walk the Palm Sunday Road.  Then continue to the Garden of Gethsemane with its ancient olive trees and the Church of All Nations. We will board the bus, drive down to the Kidron Valley, and see the Pool of Siloam, and St. Peter in Gallicantu built over the palace of the High Priest Caiaphas. We will then visit the upper room and Western Wall and walk on Temple Mount. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 9- Jerusalem / Shrine of the Book / Old City / Rabbinical Tunnel / Saint Anne’s Church (Monday)

After breakfast, we will visit the Shrine of the Book and then enter the Old City through the Dung Gate and walk through the Rabbinical Tunnel. See the Pool of Bethesda where the angel ruffled the water. Visit Saint Anne’s Church, believed to be constructed over the childhood home of Jesus’ mother, Mary. Then visit the Old Roman Road and see the place where the Kings Game was played before departing the city through the Jaffa Gate. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 10- Jerusalem / Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum / Garden Tomb  (Tuesday)
On this morning after breakfast, we will visit Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum. Our last stop will be the Garden Tomb, a peaceful spot where we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper as we remember Christ’s crucifixion, burial, and resurrection. You may return to the Old City to shop or return to the hotel to relax and reflect on your Holy Land experiences.  Before dinner we will gather to talk about our return to the USA.
Day 11- Jerusalem – Tel Aviv, Israel / Frankfurt, Germany / Orlando, FL (Wednesday)
Today our memorable journey comes to an end. We will transfer to the airport for our flight to Frankfurt, Germany with connecting service to Orlando, Fl.
