Crescent Beach Baptist on Mission
To Spread The Gospel

The North American Mission Board embraces the vision that Christ spoke in Acts 1:8 that …you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earthThe missions entity strives to fulfill the Lord’s expectation that a global missions strategy begins with a strong home base that will expand to the global arena.
NAMB is the Southern Baptist entity empowered to assist churches to reach North America for Christ.
Bahamas Mission Trip 2019
The International Mission Board (IMB) continues in that original purpose of being part of 46,000 Southern Baptist churches focused together in one sacred effort to fulfill the Great Commission among all peoples.

One Acting as a single unit. Undivided. Singularly focused with a singular nature, a singular goal.

Sacred Reverently dedicated and devoted to God. Holy. Not beginning in the heart or mind of man. Flowing from the heart and mind of God, and can be accomplished only through His leadership and empowerment.

Effort An earnest and strenuous attempt. Requiring physical and mental exertion, dedication and commitment. Living and working as if the outcome is impacted by the commitment exerted.

What is this one sacred effort? According to our Lord, it is to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20).

Therefore, our mission is evangelizing, disciplining and planting reproducing churches among all peoples in fulfillment of the Great Commission. And, our vision is a multitude from every language, people, tribe and nation, knowing and worshipping our Lord, Jesus Christ.

The Voice of the Martyrs

Our ministry is based on Hebrews 13:3:

Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.

VOM’s Mission Statement

Serving persecuted Christians through practical and spiritual assistance and leading other members of the Body of Christ into fellowship with them.

The Gideon’s sharing the Good News

The Gideon’s International is an Association of Christian business and professional men and their wives dedicated to telling people about Jesus through sharing personally and by providing Bibles and New Testaments. While we are known worldwide for our work with hotels, we predominantly share Scriptures in schools and colleges, prisons and jails, hospitals, and medical offices.
After sharing the story of the Good Samaritan, Jesus said “Go and do likewise.” That is the mission of Samaritan’s Purse—to follow the example of Christ by helping those in need and proclaiming the hope of the Gospel.
To extend our base of operations, Samaritan’s Purse opened offices in Canada (1973), the United Kingdom (1989), and Australia (1995). Each office works toward the same goal of taking the love of Jesus Christ to victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, and disease.
The mission of Florida Baptist Disaster Relief and Recovery Ministries is to “Make a difference” in times of disaster by connecting Florida Baptist Churches and Associations to people and communities impacted by disaster and by responding with Help, Healing, and Hope, that demonstrates and shares the love of Christ.
Missionary Quotes
Hudson Taylor
“China is not to be won for Christ by quiet, ease-loving men and women … The stamp of men and women we need is such as will put Jesus, China, [and] souls first and foremost in everything and at every time—even life itself must be secondary.”
Hudson Taylor

Awana Clubs International began in America in 1950 and is presently operating in over 100 countries of the world. Awana is non-denominational in its teaching and attracts boys and girls from Churches and non-Church backgrounds worldwide.
The founders of Awana derived the Awana name from the first letters of Approved workmen are not ashamed as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15 of the Bible.

“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

2 Timothy 2:15    New King James Version (NKJV)

Puggles Ages 2 Cubbies Pre-Kindergarten Sparks Grades K, 1, & 2 (boys) Grades K, 1, & 2 (girls) Truth & Training Grades 3 to 6 (boys) Grades 3 to 6 (girls)
In Puggles, children are welcomed each week with play time,  songs and simple crafts and activities. Leaders present age-  appropriate lessons using large, colorful teaching cards, finger  puppet plays and more. Lessons teach and reinforce four basic  biblical precepts:
  • God Made Everything
  • God Saw That It Was Good

Special take-home cards that correspond to each week’s lesson  help parents nurture their child’s faith at home. Participating in  Puggles will give your child a head start on the path to loving  and following God for life.

This group is of 5 year old through 2nd grade. Curriculum leads children to know Christ as Savior while also beginning to instill a lifelong love for Him. The Sparks handbook builds a foundation of biblical knowledge through memory verses, crafts, activities, and review of key doctrine and Bible facts.
This group of 3 and 4 year old focus primarily on helping children know Christ biblically and personally at their age appropriate level. Grand Prix
The Awana Grand Prix is a Pinewood Derby-style event. It is an family -oriented affair that allows clubbers to express their ingenuity by creating and racing their own wooden Grand Prix cars. Weeks before the race , Cubbers receive small pine blocks of wood and plastic wheels from which they construct their car, usually with the help of a parent or leader. The cars race on a four-lane track . Awards are given for both design and speed. The Grand Prix provides a challenging, stimulating night for all to see!
Theme Nights
Our club tends to stick with a similar calendar each year, we evaluate each night, make a few changes and try to incorporate theme nights that tie in with the teaching time.
